The Lake Hanska Lutheran Church Council held their December meeting following worship on December, 7, 2025 at 10:10 AM. President Jim Lilleodden called the meeting to order in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
There was no devotion. The Secretaries’ Report was approved as printed in the Grapevine. Treasurer Beth Kral presented the Treasurer’s Report. The premium for Church Mutual Insurance has increased considerably. President Jim has communicated with the agent to understand the increase. Financial Secretary Bonnie reported that we have been blessed with good offerings which has allowed the Treasurer to be able to pay bills without a loan. Thank you to all faithful contributors.
The Deacon’s are doing good. They are beginning to work on the 2026 Usher list. They are always looking for Scripture Reading volunteers. Please consider to help out. The Trustee’s had new. 50 # more Ice Melt has ben purchased for the winter. Consider helping out when possible to keep the sidewalk cleared of snow.
Joint Council met Monday, December 1 at LH. Contract for S.A.M. Ralph Flitter was discussed to be extend from June 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, making it a January thru December calendar year contract. Contract terms for contracts of Ralph and Joyce were discussed.

Lenten and Easter Season -- Ash Wednesday, Feb. 18 – 3:30 PM at Lake Hanska, 7:00 PM at Faith
Lenten Services -- 3:30 PM at Lake Hanska, 6:30 PM at Faith
Maundy Thursday -- 3:30 Pm at Lake Hanska
Good Friday -- 6:30 PM at Faith
Easter Sunday, April 5 --9:00 AM@Faith,10:30 AM@Lake Hanska
It was approved to pay the Chairlift Permit of $145 for 2026.
The Lake Hanska Lutheran Church Annual Meeting was set for January 18, 2026. Worship service will be at 10:30 AM, a catered meal following worship, with the Annual Meeting set for 12:30 PM. Please plan to attend.
